Meet the Team

Dr. James Olsen

Dr. Olsen, an Ann Arbor native, received his undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Michigan in 1984. He went on to study dentistry, earning his doctorate of dental science from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1988. The following year, Dr. Olsen opened his private practice in Ann Arbor with just one operatory and one employee. Thanks to the support and loyalty of his patients, the practice has grown into a state-of-the-art, high-tech facility capable of delivering the highest quality dentistry available. He and his team really care about the health and well-being of his family of patients, and they feel comfortable having all their oral health care needs met in his office. Today, Dr. Olsen’s team has grown to include three hygienists, two dental assistants, and two reception/business administrators.

Because Dr. Olsen is passionate about dentistry, he regularly attends local and national dental meetings for continuing education, achieving an average of over 100 hours per year of continuing education in all areas of dentistry. He has been trained in the latest techniques and materials for cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for advanced dental studies.

Dr. Olsen has been a big supporter of local baseball and soccer programs through his participation as a coach with various teams over the past 15 years. He has also sponsored many teams and events and been active in many community projects over the years. Dr. Olsen is a resident of the community in which he practices and enjoys seeing his family of patients wherever he goes in town.

Hygiene Team

Our dental hygiene team is highly motivated to provide our patients with a comfortable yet comprehensive appointment. They have over 35 combined years of experience in their profession and draw on their past experiences as well as the most current information available, from their continuing education seminars, to exceed our patients' expectations. Our dental hygienists love the personal interaction this profession provides and it gives them great satisfaction to help our patients meet their dental goals.
